Malcolm Mclean

With a 1st Class Honours B.A. in Fine Art (Painting), Malcolm is a landscape artist now living in Wales who has held many one-man exhib1itions in arts centres, art galleries and stately homes (including Dillington House and Taunton Castle Gallery).

Once Head of Art and Design at a large school, he has also taught adult art groups for several years. While painting and working in the South of England Malcolm has also produced set designs for the theatre, including South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof, Bugsy Malone, Midsummer Nights Dream, and many others. He also produced sets for local pantomimes. He painted the backcloth for the London production of 'Cats' on tour and has worked on set designs for television, including the programme 'Harbour Lights'.

Painting is Malcolm's great love and his work depicts the rugged splendour and beauty of North Wales.
