Anne Brierley

Anne lives and Works in the Elwy Valley; she makes paintings, prints and ceramics that arise from sensory responses to the natural world and human form.

She makes art because making for the sake of making is an important part of being human: distilling lived experiences into visual form is a practice that orientates, that grounds, slows and tethers.

The finished pieces are the result of a balance between play, problem solving and enquiry.
